F-Magnesium Industry Co. Ltd.

Company History

F-Magnesium Industry Co. Ltd. Was founded with total of 9.25 hundred million NT dollars in April 2017. The company actively develops manufacturers and customers in the upstream and downstream related industries of copper. The main business item is phosphor bronze plates, and it purchases and manufactures copper alloy raw materials by itself, and uses European original equipment to process and manufacture copper alloy plates according to customer needs, and sells domestic and foreign customers .

In the future, the company will uphold the spirit of "Excellent Quality, Service First" and a prudent business method, and provide better products to serve all customers in the past and in the future, in order to achieve customer satisfaction and sustainable operation as the ultimate goal .

Production equipment

At the time when the global economic environment is moving towards internationalization, F-Magnesium promises to become a world-class company. In addition to being committed to meeting the domestic demand for copper alloy strip, we must also follow the development of the times, focusing more on the international market, manufacturing products with better quality, lower cost and higher added value, and increasing the proportion of exports to compete with the international competitors.

We have successively introduced various production and quality inspection equipment from Europe, such as "horizontal continuous casting machine", "finishing rolling mill", "Stretch-Bend-Leveling Line" and "Degreasing and Pickling Line" etc. Advanced equipment leading the industry such as the horizontal continuous casting line has a patent over the homogenized furnace.

  • GRISET Horizontal Continuous Casting Line
  • GRISET 2Hi Cold Rolling Mill
  • FRÖHLING 4Hi Cold Rolling Mill
  • EBNER Batch Annealing Furnace
  • WESERO Degreasing and Pickling Line
  • GRISET Degreasing and Pickling Line for thicker gauges
  • UNGERER Stretch-Bend-Leveling Line
  • • GRISET and MIT Slitting Line

  • Capacity: 800 Ton/Month

Research and development

Because copper metal has good electrical and thermal conductivity and machining and forming characteristics, copper alloys have become a very important raw material in the electronic industry today. The different types of copper alloys are also increasing with the functional and machining requirements of different products. Copper alloy strips with high conductivity and high strength have also been rapidly researched and developed.

At present besides the continuous testing and monitoring equipment on various production lines, the companys testing equipments exist in quality control and mechanical properties laboratories, metallographic processing laboratories, physical and chemical analysis laboratories, and heat treatment laboratories.

Laboratory equipment includes:

(1) Quality control and mechanical properties laboratory: universal tensile testing machine, hardness testing machine, electrical conductivity tester, surface roughness tester.

(2) Metallographic processing laboratory: metallographic cutting machine, test piece guide embedding machine, metallographic grinding and polishing equipment, ICP pretreatment and chemical configuration equipment.

(3) Physical and chemical analysis laboratory: inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer, single and multi-substrate spectrometer, optical microscope, stereo microscope.

Phosphor bronze

Copper alloy is an alloy composed of copper metal as the basic element and adding other elements. Phosphor bronze is an alloy material containing copper, tin and phosphorus. Most phosphor bronze alloys contain 4% to 10% tin and 0.03% to 0.35% phosphorus, and the rest is copper. Tin element can significantly increase the strength of copper alloy, and adding tin can also make copper alloy have good castability.

In addition to being a powerful deoxidizer, phosphorus also improves the wear resistance of materials, increases the elastic limit and fatigue strength, and retains the good corrosion resistance of bronze. In addition, excellent formability and solderability are mainly used in electrical and electronic products.

Phosphor bronze in industry is mainly used as wear-resistant parts and elastic components, springs, switches, lead frames, connectors, vibrating plates, diaphragms, fuse clips, bushings, etc. for electronic and electrical devices, especially for those requiring high elasticity spring. Phosphor bronze castings are mainly used in gears, bearings, bushings, sleeves, blades and other general mechanical parts.
